Sankashti fast is observed on fourth day of the dark fortnight as per the Hindu calendar. This day of the month holds the importance for the moon. Naivedya of Modaks and other food offered to Lord Ganesha. Devotees sing Siddhivinayak Aarti Mantra Pushpanjali.
